Items excluded from change of mind returns- Bespoke & Custom Play Equipment & Custom Structures:
Because our play frames, climbing towers, playhouses and outdoor structures are custom-built, made to measure or personalized to your specific dimensions and specifications they are exempt from the 14-day online cancellation and change of mind cooling off period. Your order may not be cancelled, amended or refunded if you change your mind or your order does not fit your space due to your measuring error.
Please note that we use high-quality pressure treated structural timber. Natural characteristics of outdoor wood- such as superficial cracks, splits, knots and minor warping caused by changes in outdoor humidity are completely normal, do not affect the structural integrity of the play frame and are not classified as manufacturing defects. Your statutory rights remain fully protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If any custom element is structurally faulty, damaged we will promptly repair or replace the affected component.
Bespoke Order Deposits- For all custom built playframes and bespoke structures, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and initiate the order. Because these items are tailored to your requirement, this deposit is immediately used to procure raw materials and dedicate manufacturing time. Whilst we will try and accommodate amendments customers may have, if you choose to cancel your bespoke order after production or material cutting has begun, your deposit may be forfeited to cover the material and labor costs incurred.
9. Product Safety
Our products must be used in accordance with their manufacturer's safety instructions and guidance.
Customers should consider age suitability, adult supervision, suitable installation locations and the appropriate use of outdoor play equipment.
We recommend regularly inspecting outdoor play equipment and following the manufacturer's maintenance instructions.
10. Warranties
Certain products carry manufacturer warranties or additional guarantees, which do not replace statutory consumer rights.
For Play frames and playhouses, Mid Ulster Climbing Frames offers an eight-year anti-rot guarantee on timber posts, conditional on appropriate ongoing maintenance. Annual washing and treatment of play frames and outdoor structures are recommended.
Play frames and playhouses installed by the Mid Ulster Climbing Frames team carry a two-year warranty against applicable manufacturing defects. Please note that modifications or relocations by third parties may void your warranty.
